Privacy — Keyword Impact Tracker

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run the product: your account details (name and email), your organization and its websites and clients, the exact keywords and URLs you choose to track, Google Search Console performance data you import, and page-monitoring data collected from pages you track. We also collect basic technical logs (such as request and error logs) to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use information

We use collected data to provide the core product: tracking keywords against exact URLs, importing and displaying Search Console performance, monitoring tracked pages for SEO-relevant changes, and building client-ready reports. We may also use it to maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you about your account or the service.

Google Search Console data

When you connect a Google account, we request read-only access to Search Console (webmasters.readonly) and nothing more. We do not request write or administrative access to your Google properties, and we cannot change your Search Console settings. Imported performance data (clicks, impressions, and position) is stored so we can show historical trends for the exact keywords and URLs you track.

OAuth tokens and security

Google authorization tokens are encrypted at rest and are never written to application logs. Tokens are used only to fetch the read-only Search Console data described above. You can disconnect a Google account from within the app at any time; you can also remove Keyword Impact Tracker's access directly from your Google Account permissions.

Crawler / page monitoring data

For pages you choose to track, we fetch publicly accessible content and extract SEO-relevant signals such as the page title, meta description, headings, canonical tag, indexability, structured data types, and a bounded excerpt of visible text. This is used to detect and summarize changes over time. We do not store raw HTML.

Data sharing

We do not currently sell personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate the product, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, under confidentiality obligations, or when required to comply with applicable law.

Data retention

We retain account, website, keyword, Search Console, and page-monitoring data while your organization's account remains in use. We are continuing to refine data retention and deletion tooling; some records may currently be archived rather than permanently deleted.

Your choices

You can disconnect a Google account and archive websites, clients, tracked pages, or keywords from within the app. Crawling stops when pages are archived or no longer actively tracked. Contact us for data access or removal requests using the details below.
